Job description

History Teacher – Full-Time (November to December)

A welcoming mainstream secondary school is seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from November until December. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will:

  • Teach History across a range of year groups, ensuring lessons are well-structured and engaging.

  • Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour.

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Contribute to the positive and supportive ethos of the school.

This role would suit a qualified teacher with experience delivering History at secondary level. The school is committed to supporting both staff and students, providing a collaborative and welcoming environment for learning and professional growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
