Job description

Are you an experienced History Teacher seeking a new role in an exciting and inclusive school in Manchester?

We are currently collaborating with a variety of schools in the Manchester area who are looking for a skilled Humanities Teacher with a specialisation in History to join their team on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional educator with a passion for providing students with the best education possible.

This position involves creating and implementing a successful sequence of lessons within the curriculum to support the progression and enjoyment of all students in their humanities studies.

Key Highlights:

  • Seeking a Humanities Teacher who can teach across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Full-time position
  • Located in Manchester with a diverse student population

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must hold QTS in the UK
  • Confidence in teaching GCSE History is required
  • Must have a DBS on the Update service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS (Child Workforce Only)
  • Track record of improving student attainment is essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
