History Teacher – Wimbledon & Surrounding Areas (January 2026 Start)

Location: Wimbledon & nearby South West London areas
Start Date: January 2026
Pay: Paid to Teacher Pay Scale
Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent)

Are you a qualified and passionate History Teacher looking to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in the classroom?
Teaching Personnel is working with several excellent secondary schools in the Wimbledon area seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join their team from January 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to bring history to life for students and make a meaningful impact within a supportive and forward-thinking department.


Requirements:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
✅ Strong subject knowledge in History across Key Stages 3–5
✅ Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
✅ A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential
✅ Commitment to creating engaging and inclusive lessons
