A dynamic secondary school in Bolton is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their Humanities faculty from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in a supportive school community that values innovation and high-quality teaching.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Delivering engaging History lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4

Inspiring a love of learning and helping students explore significant historical events and themes

Working closely with the Humanities department to create a stimulating curriculum

Tracking student progress and supporting learners of all abilities
-
Playing an active role in school life, including clubs, trips, and parent engagement
Who We’re Looking For:

A qualified teacher with UK QTS
-
Someone with excellent subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching History

A confident communicator with strong classroom management skills
-
A team player who is committed to student success

Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to grow their careers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
