History Teacher
Job description
We are currently working with welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Bolton, seeking enthusiastic and committed History Teachers to join their Humanities departments from September 2025. These full-time roles are ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive History lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Humanities department
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
- Participate in planning, assessment, and wider school activities
What We're Looking For:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Strong subject knowledge in History (Humanities experience an advantage)
- Passion for education and a genuine interest in pupil progress
- Enthusiastic, organised and committed to long-term development in school
