Job description

We are currently working with welcoming and well-resourced secondary schools in Bolton, seeking enthusiastic and committed History Teachers to join their Humanities departments from September 2025. These full-time roles are ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive History lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Contribute to a supportive and collaborative Humanities department
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
  • Participate in planning, assessment, and wider school activities

What We're Looking For:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
  • Strong subject knowledge in History (Humanities experience an advantage)
  • Passion for education and a genuine interest in pupil progress
  • Enthusiastic, organised and committed to long-term development in school
