About the School
I have a lovely secondary school based near Ilford looking for a passionate History teacher to join their strong and talented staff. This school demands and achieves high results and ensures these standards are maintained by promoting an atmosphere of encouragement.
The development of good habits in the students working life is a priority, the aim to instil ideals such as organisation and responsibility.
The school enable their students to plan for their futures after school, whether it be university or work, with several different programs and a Sixth Form centre. They offer apprenticeships in areas such as car mechanics to ensure the children have all the tools they need to thrive in their desired industry. Along with work experience and an EPQ program, this school truly cares about their student's futures ensuring they exit or continue their education with the experience, knowledge and attitude needed to achieve success where ever they may go.
Ofsted gave this school a rating of "outstanding" in 2017 and stated along with an outstanding Sixth Form the school give all students an equal opportunity.
Ofsted quoted:
"All students are very well prepared for their future lives, whatever their chosen paths,"
"Teachers have excellent subject knowledge and are adept at preparing students for examinations and building up their confidence."
This fantastic school is looking for strong candidates who not only care about their students and can control a class proficiently, but are also excited by the subject they teach.
