About the School

This great school is looking for strong history teachers, experienced in secondary schools, to join their already strong team. Based near Ealing, this school look to develop students academically, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally. They aim to get students fully prepared for life, ensuring they become good citizens and make a strong contribution to the community.

The school aims to promote British values which are prevalent throughout the school, namely; democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different beliefs and faiths.

Ofsted have rated the school as "good" and have talented leadership who have created a nurturing environment

Ofsted were quote saying:

"They are highly supportive of each other and celebrate differences, and pupils new to the school are quickly integrated,"

"Pupils' conduct is of a very high standard. They attend regularly, work hard and are eager to learn."

About the role

History Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Teachers will be expected to plan, prepare and mark students work

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student's work.

Location

The school is accessible via Acton Main line station (15 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching history at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)

Expect a dedicated attitude towards their students
