Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated History and Politics Teacher to take on a full-time position in an outstanding school in central Bristol for Term 6 onwards for a permanent post. 

If you would like work sooner than Term 6, the school are happy to offer general cover before starting the position.

This school is a diverse, school in Bristol, celebrating over 30 languages and various faiths. They tackle big themes such as racism, discrimination, and climate change. These classrooms foster exploration of diverse perspectives, academically ambitious, and happy and fulfilled students. Students lead discussions on complex issues with respect and understanding. The successful candidate will be:

  • A well-qualified, highly motivated and engaging teacher of History able to deliver outstanding lessons across the ages and ability range at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Creative and innovative; willing to contribute to the development of students learning and their progress.
  • A practitioner with high skills in self – evaluation.
  • Committed to continuous professional development leading to outstanding teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
