Teaching Personnel are currenly working with a secondary school in Wigan who wishes to appoint a highly experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their strong Learning Support department on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time HLTA role - Required to start from September 2020.
  • Competitive pay rate – Monthly earnings of up to GBP1350 per month
  • Temporary position in the first instance with opportunity to earn a permanent contract
  • Working within a supportive Wigan based secondary school

The role of a HLTA will include providing in-class support along with planning and delivering Learning Support lessons to identified students within the school.

The successful candidate will need to have a HLTA qualification with good verbal and written communication skills and be confident in liaising with parents, staff and external professionals.

Located on the outskirts of Ashton in Makerfield, this school is easily accessible via the East Lancashire road making; Haydock, St Helens, Leigh, Salford and Warrington easily commutable.
