Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Full-time | September 2025 Start (Early Start Available – Part-time or Full-time)
Are you a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN)?
We’re seeking a skilled HLTA to join inspiring specialist settings in the Wimborne area, supporting pupils aged 3 to 19 across both primary and secondary phases.

Your Role Will Include:

Delivering interventions and small group support

Assisting teachers in planning and adapting lessons

Leading learning activities and supporting behaviour strategies

Encouraging engagement and emotional regulation

Helping to build confidence, independence, and resilience

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

8:30am to 4pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
