Higher Level Teaching Assistant 
Full-time | September 2025 Start (Early Start Available – Part-time or Full-time)

Are you a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We’re seeking a skilled HLTA to join inspiring specialist settings in the Wimborne area, supporting pupils aged 3 to 19 across both primary and secondary phases.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Delivering interventions and small group support

  • Assisting teachers in planning and adapting lessons

  • Leading learning activities and supporting behaviour strategies

  • Encouraging engagement and emotional regulation

  • Helping to build confidence, independence, and resilience

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday

  • 8:30am to 4pm

  • Term time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
