SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
Location: Wimborne
Start Date: September 2025 (Potential for Earlier Start)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join a well-regarded secondary school in Wimborne.
This full-time or part-time role will involve working closely with students aged 11 to 16 who have a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and emotional or behavioural challenges.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will work under the guidance of teachers and senior staff to support the delivery of engaging, differentiated lessons.
You will assist individual students or small groups, help manage classroom behaviour, and provide emotional support throughout the day. Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude will be essential, as you’ll be helping students build their confidence, social skills, and independence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
