Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full-Time | Salisbury | September 2025 Start

Are you an experienced and passionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?

We are urgently recruiting dedicated HLTA to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Salisbury-based specialist schools.

This full-time position starts in September 2025, with the potential for an earlier start in either a full- or part-time capacity.

You’ll be supporting pupils aged 3 to 19, across both primary and secondary phases, in structured and nurturing educational environments.


 

About the Role:

  • Full-time (Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4pm)

  • Start: September 2025 (early start options available)

  • Pupils aged 3–19, with SEMH, ASD, and complex needs

  • Delivering targeted support and leading small group interventions

  • Assisting in the planning and delivery of individualised education programmes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
