We are currently searching for Higher Level Teaching Assistants or individuals with a TA3 qualification to work within primary schools in the BB6 area. This role would be within EYFS/KS1 supporting the class teacher as well as opportunities to stand in and take the class when needed.
Responsibilities with this role:
- Assess the needs of students and use detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support students’ learning.
- Establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Be comfortable and willing to step up for the class teacher in the event of their absence.
- Address gaps in learning.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
This is a full-time temporary role, however depending on circumstance it may become permanent.

- Competitive rates, £12.50 - £15 an hour
What we require:
- Relevant experience as a HLTA/ Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- A level 2 safeguarding certificate (this can be completed following your application)
- A DBS on the update service (this can be applied for following your application)
- Professional references from your 2 most recent employers

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
