✨ The Opportunity
Teaching Personnel is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HLTA to support pupils’ learning, lead small group teaching, and cover whole-class sessions where required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.

• Provide targeted small group and 1:1 interventions to support pupil progress.

• Support the planning and assessment of learning activities alongside the class teacher.

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed.

• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification/experience.

• A solid understanding of the primary curriculum (EYFS, KS1 or KS2).

• Experience leading whole-class teaching.

• Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills.

• A flexible, proactive, and team-focused approach.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
