Teaching Personnel are recruiting Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Hounslow. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants looking to take the next step in their career or qualified HLTAs seeking flexible work across different school settings.
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. You will be delivering planned lessons during teacher PPA time and absences, leading intervention groups, supporting pupils with additional needs, and helping to raise attainment across the curriculum.
The schools pride themselves on providing inclusive learning environments where every child is encouraged to succeed. You will have the opportunity to work across different year groups, build strong relationships with pupils and staff, and make a positive impact on pupil progress.
You will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting behaviour management, leading targeted interventions and ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.
Applications will be considered from candidates with:
- HLTA Status or significant experience as a Teaching Assistant
- Experience working within a Primary school setting
- Confidence leading whole-class learning when required
- Strong behaviour management and classroom support skills
- Experience delivering interventions in literacy and numeracy
- A passion for supporting pupil progress and achievement
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to adapt to different year groups and school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
