We are currently seeking a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant (preferably HLTA qualified) who has experience of working with young people who have Emotional Behavioural Difficulties. Your role will involve supporting students who express challenging behaviour.
This role will also involve professionally supporting parents/guardians and working alongside other agencies. The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with the students, have a firm but fair stance, and inspire them to progress academically and socially. The school is also looking for someone who is professional and can attend meetings and work alongside the Class Teacher and SENCO.
Key Duties
- Supporting students in class and on a one to one basis
- Working alongside Class Teacher and SENCO
- Attend meetings such as annual reviews, pupil parents meetings etc
- Successfully manage behaviour
- Liaise/Support with Parents and Guardians
