High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Sheffield S10 Area
Full-time | Immediate start or September 2025
Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting experienced High-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) to support primary schools across the S10 area of Sheffield. We’re looking for confident and motivated individuals who can work flexibly across year groups and support both teachers and pupils to raise standards.
About the role:
- Provide high-quality classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2
- Deliver small group interventions and, where required, lead whole-class cover
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
- Help monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
- Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, supportive environment
About you:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to lead learning activities confidently with individuals, small groups, or whole classes
- A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for supporting children’s learning
- Previous experience in a primary school setting is highly desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
