HLTA Intervention

Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking candidate to the post of a HLTA in one of our Alternative provisions in Lancing.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing outstanding provision for young people who may present with challenging behaviour. You will possess a good understanding of pupils with complex needs and display the confidence needed to work with pupil’s who experience social, emotional and mental health challenges. You will have be organised and have excellent people skills. This is a great opportunity to be part of a talented and hard working team that is pupil centred with high standards.

About You:

• Be excellent practitioners with high expectations of all pupils

• Be passionate about child-centred learning

• Have excellent organisational and communication skills and enjoy working in a team

• Preferably have experience of working in two or more key stages

• Be able to make a positive contribution to the ethos of our school

• Have a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all

You will have:

• A good standard of education across a range of subjects

• Meet HLTA Standard of equivalent qualification or experience

• Working knowledge of national curriculum and other relevant learning programmes

• Full working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
