HEAD OF SCIENCE (INTERIM) – WINDSOR
Independent School | KS3–KS4 | AQA GCSE | Until End of Academic Year
An excellent independent school in Windsor is seeking an experienced Head of Science to lead and deliver Science across Year 7–11, covering AQA GCSE Sciences, until the end of the academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner with leadership experience to step into a well-resourced department within a supportive and high-achieving environment.
The Role:
• Lead the Science department across KS3 & KS4
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the AQA curriculum
• Teach combined and/or separate sciences at GCSE
• Support curriculum planning and departmental standards
• Maintain high academic expectations and classroom standards
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ QTS (or equivalent)
✔ Proven experience teaching GCSE Science (AQA)
✔ Previous leadership or Head of Department experience
✔ Confident teaching across Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
✔ Strong organisational and team leadership skills
