Job Summary:

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school to recruit an exceptional Head of Physics for a permanent role starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Physics teacher to lead a knowledgeable and committed team within a thriving Science department.

The successful candidate will bring strong subject expertise, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative approach to support continued departmental success. You will be joining a Science faculty that consistently achieves outstanding outcomes and offers students a full suite of qualifications including Triple Science at GCSE, A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and a Level 3 Applied Science course.

This is a full-time leadership position within a well-resourced and fully staffed Science department. The school offers a vibrant and supportive environment with a strong culture of professional development and staff wellbeing. There are regular Science clubs, enrichment activities, and opportunities for students to take part in regional and national competitions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
