Head of English role in Farnborough

The Role

Our client school in Farnborough is looking to hire a New Head of English on a permanent basis to start in January. This is a good rated school located just off the M3, it has a lovely campus with state of the art facilities and plenty of parking, and it is also easily reached by bus and train from most large cities. You would be expected to be able to maintain and increase the attainment of the pupils under your care, ranging in age from 11-16 years. As the head of department you would be expected to fulfil the task of being a member of middle management ensuring the teachers acting under you are preforming to the best of their ability and providing the best care to the pupils of the school. The school generally pays a 2.5% uplift on your spinepoint due to the calibre of teaching expected.
