Teaching Assistant – Hampshire SEN
Location: Multiple schools across Hampshire (Southampton, Portsmouth, Farnborough, Aldershot and other areas)
Salary: From £89.38 per day
Job Type: Full-time & Part-time positions available
Teaching Personnel is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students across SEN School settings. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while gaining valuable experience in education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils’ learning and development in line with individual education plans (IEPs)
- Promoting positive behaviour and fostering respectful, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
- Assisting with the delivery of tailored interventions and activities designed to meet pupils’ social and emotional needs
- Contributing to a supportive and inclusive school ethos that values diversity and wellbeing
Person specification:
- Experience or a strong understanding of working with children with SEMH and additional complex needs
- Ability to develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
- A passionate and empathetic approach to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and educational progress
- Commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
