Teaching Assistant – SEMH Secondary School (Boys, Ages 11–16)

Location: Havant

Pay: £13.75 per hour

Contract: Term Time Only – Opportunity for Long-Term Role

They are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join this specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) secondary school for boys aged 11–16 in Havant. The school provides a nurturing, small-scale environment where students thrive through a highly differentiated curriculum and tailored support.

 

About the Role:

You will work closely with an experienced teaching and pastoral teams to support students who may have additional needs such as:

  • ADHD (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder)

  • ASC (Autistic Spectrum Conditions)

  • Dyslexia

 

Your role will be to help remove barriers to learning, build trusting relationships, and encourage positive engagement in both academic and social settings.
