£290 - £350 per week

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

  • Are you a recent graduate?
  • Are you looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule?
  • Do you want a competitive rate of pay?

If the answer to any of these is YES then Teaching Personnel want to hear from YOU!

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit recent graduates to support our schools in the Trafford area in a variety of roles on a flexible daily basis.

From Cover Supervisor to Learning Support and intervention work, you be would be taking on a very rewarding role in some of the most well established schools in Trafford, including several rated "Good" and "Outstanding" by Ofsted. With full or part time hours available, as well as the possible future opportunity of a permanent school-based contract, there really has never been a better time for graduates to get into this sort of work.

On a day to day basis, depending on your preference, you may be:

  • Covering classes in the event of a teacher absence where you deliver pre-set work provided by the school
  • Planning and delivering small group or one-to-one sessions based around your subject specialism to help pupils catch up on their learning, or to push high achievers to the fullest of their potential
  • Supporting pupils inside or outside the classroom who are struggling to access their learning, for whatever reason
  • Providing general assistance and support within a particular department

Previous experience supporting within a school or working with children would be a bonus; however, it is not a necessity provided you have a passion for education and working with young people. Similar transferable experience in which you have supported young people, such as those who have worked as a Teaching Assistant or who have run Youth Clubs/ worked in Youth Work would also be advantageous, but above all, you should be confident, resilient and adaptable as every day will be different.

For further information on these graduate roles, contact the Manchester Secondary branch of Teaching Personnel today. Alternatively, simply apply via this advert with an up to date copy of your CV and a cover letter outlining any relevant experience for immediate consideration.
