Are you a recent graduate with aspirations of becoming a teacher?
Are you determined to help pass on your subject knowledge to students at KS1 and KS2 level?
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a number of schools in the Nottingham area who are looking to implement a Mentor scheme for the academic year. This is with a view to begin in September and run through until the end of the academic year.
They welcome graduates who are looking to hone their presence in the classroom.
- Position starting September 2019
- Opportunity to work full or part-time
- 2 term fixed position
- Competitive salary
As a Mentor, you will be responsible for working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with students alongside the classroom teacher. So a relevant degree and passion for delivering intervention is essential, with previous paid or voluntary work within education beneficial. The schools range from 'Requires Improvement' through to 'Outstanding' giving you the perfect opportunity to experience the full range of teaching experience. The classroom teacher or SENCo at each school offer an incredibly supportive environment and are happy to coach mentors in preparation for the sessions.
If this sounds like the ideal opportunity for you or you would be interested in learning more, please contact your local Primary specialist, Jack, on 0115 8456405 or email your CV.
