Teaching Personnel are proud to be working closely with a improving secondary school in St. Neots, Cambridgeshire to appoint an engaging Graduate, with a passion for pupil learning and development.

This supportive and welcoming secondary school wish to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant in order to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis , with an aim to boost pupil engagement in lessons and improve their academic levels.

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • 1:1 Tuition and Intervention with students that require extra support in their subject(s).
  • Involvement in departmental planning and lesson preparation.
  • Managing the behaviour of pupils aged 11-16 years, confidently.
  • Ensuring pupils stay engaged in and partake in class activities.

This would be an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Teacher or education professional, to gain classroom specific experience in a busy school environment. This position is long-term, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
