About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning for students aged 11–16. When teachers are absent, you will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, maintain a purposeful learning environment and keep students motivated and on track.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Supporting students to remain engaged and focused
• Providing occasional support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Creating a positive, calm and productive classroom atmosphere

This role offers breadth and variety, giving you hands-on experience across different subjects and year groups—ideal preparation for those exploring a career in teaching.
