Graduate Teaching assistants

There is a high demand for teaching assistants in Primary schools in Lambeth, Bromley and Croydon. A successful candidate may not have a great deal of experience supporting pupils with SEN, however, having the right attitude is vital in order to meet the demands of the role. Most of the pupils are on the Autism spectrum, with additional needs, such ADHD, SEMH, SLD and MLD.

There are full time and part time/day-to-day roles. The successful candidates will be required to work with pupils 1:1, providing consistency for pupils, assisting with class work when they need it, supervising them during their breaks.

This post is for an immediate start and will span until end of academic year with the idea that you will continue at the school in September.

Full time consists of Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 16:00pm. Availability for part time roles should be a minimum of 3 days a week to go into schools that require day cover for the day. You will be assisting pupils, and at times small groups, on a 1:1 basis for the day depending on the school's needs for the day.

Any training, such as safeguarding and team teach, is an advantage, however schools are willing to provide extra training to the right candidates.

Graduates with sports science, psychology, music, or education degrees are welcome to apply.

The schools are looking to fill the roles as soon as possible, so if you are available straightaway then please forward your updated CV to Fatjona at or call 02075933070 for further information.
