Graduate Teaching Assistant

A suited role for a graduate who is considering a career in secondary teaching and has a true passion for supporting the learning of young people. Starting after Easter (April 2021)

• Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full time role 
• April 2021 to July 2021 in the first instance
• Great rate of pay earning GBP1300 a month, paid weekly
• Working at a fantastic and supportive secondary school located in Bury (BL9)
• Opportunity to cover lessons in the absence of teachers
• First hand experience in a classroom to help you decide if teaching is the career for you
• Previous experience with young people is desirable 

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the learning of pupils aged 11-16 with their learning needs. You will work alongside dedicated class teachers to provide tailored learning support to identified pupils in small classroom groups to ensure they have the best chance to reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
