If yes to any of the above we want to hear from you. One of our client secondary schools are looking for a recent graduate to support their pupills full time on a one to one and small group basis starting in September. You would be working as a teaching assistant nurturing and boosting a child learning. The school are looking for a recent graduate who they can mould and invest in. In recent years the school have found graduates to push their pupils to achieve their potential which is why they are keen to continue this trend.

The successful graduate:

  • Degree in Psychology, Youth Work, Drama, Maths, English, Science desirable
  • Any experience with children is beneficial but not essential (Voluntary, personal or professional)
  • Training and support provided
  • Requires an enhanced child DBS and registration with the EWC

You will be joining a large team of support staff that cater for a wide range of needs. Ranging from ASD, social and emotional mental health, learning difficulties and behaviour difficulties. Having an open mind and proactive approach will be essentail for the role as a teaching assistant. You will be supporting pupils secondary aged 12-16 years but some with the mental age of younger.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
