Graduate Teaching Assistant
We have an exciting opportunity for any graduates or students looking to gain experience in a school environment at our client secondary schools near Liverpool city centre and on the outskirts.
Due to a gap within this school’s support department, a teaching assistant position has recently become available starting ASAP across a number of secndary schools across Liverpool and surrounding areas. The reason for this temporary teaching assistant role is to support year 10/11 students in preparation for summer exams. Within this teaching assistant position you will have the chance to provide support in the subject you specialise in as well as other subjects.
** Applicants are required to be educated up to degree level. Previous experience supporting the learning of pupils in secondary education is desirable but not essential. **
Graduate Teaching Assistant Overview:
- Employment for the rest of the academic year.
- Full time and Part time opportunities available
- Graduate Students from all subjects encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Provide support in a range of subjects including your specialist subject
- Inspire pupils (aged 11-16) to reach their full potential in education
- Be responsible for running revision sessions and lunch time learning clubs
- Lead sessions for small groups in the lead up to examinations
- Participation in departmental planning and marking

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
