Are you a recent graduate located within the East Riding of Yorkshire? Do you wish to secure a position on a teacher training course in the future?

If so, Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of Graduates ahead of the new academic year, to work within our client schools as a Teaching Assistant. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large amount of Secondary schools and Academies in Bridlington and East Riding of Yorkshire, we have an abundance of opportunities to further develop skills in advance of completing a teacher training course.

  • Graduate Teaching Assistants required -Bridlington and surrounding areas
  • Opportunity to earn £1000-£1200 a month depending upon previous experience
  • Full-time and Part-time Graduate Teaching Assistant positions available from January 2019
  • Ideal opportunity to obtain invaluable experience prior to completing a teacher training course in the future.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant working for Teaching Personnel, you will have the opportunity to work within a number of different Secondary schools in Bridlington & The East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be assigned your own dedicated consultant who will look to make the introduction to our client schools as smooth as possible, ensuring that you are happy with the work provided at all times. You will have the opportunity to work in both a full and part-time capacities.

Teaching Personnel wish to appoint a team of dedicated Support staff that display a positive attitude and can inspire the learning of all pupils. It is essential that the successful Graduate Teaching Assistants have previous experience working with children and young people, and are willing to complete an Enhanced DBS check prior to commencing work.

Your roles in class will include;

  • Working with students across Year 7 - 11 on a 1:1 basis, providing tuition and supporting the learning of students within your subject specialism.
  • Helping the class teacher with positive behaviour management within the classroom.
  • Lead small intervention sessions with students that have not yet reached their target grade.
