Our client school located in Horwich currently have a high demand for graduates to work within their school as a cover supervisor.

• Graduate teaching assistant
• Full time and part time work available within this Horwich based secondary
• Delivering pre-set work and leading classing in the absence of teachers
• Ideal opportunity for any graduates considering a career within secondary education
• Attractive rates of pay - Up to £350 per week

As a cover supervisor you will hold a number of responsibilities including; delivering pre-set work in the absence of pupil's normal class teachers, ensuring pupils stay on task and behaviour management policies are abided to, reporting to the head of department on progress pupils have made within class.

This is the ideal opportunity to gain the necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses (PGCE, Schools Direct and Teach First) to further your experience working within secondary schools. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within education and will have their own transport to travel to school at short notice (Desirable not essential).
