Graduate Teaching Assistant – Stanford-Le-Hope
Location: Stanford-Le-Hope
Daily Rate: £88 – £105
Contract Type: Full-Time | Term Time Only

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside experienced educators, helping to support the learning and development of primary-aged children. This role provides the perfect foundation for those who are eager to further their teaching career and may offer the opportunity to continue teacher training while in the role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities

  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources

  • Work with individual or small groups of pupils to provide additional support

  • Help to create a positive and nurturing learning environment

  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and academic development


Requirements:

  • A degree (preferably in education or a related field)

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C / Level 4 or above)

  • A genuine desire to pursue a career in primary education

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude

  • A willingness to learn and contribute to the school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
