This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience in supportive secondary schools across the Salford area.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students across KS3 and KS4, supporting learning both in and out of the classroom. This role is ideal for graduates who are exploring teacher training routes such as PGCE, School Direct or Teach First.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting students in whole-class, small group and one-to-one settings
• Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and motivated
• Providing additional support to students who need it most
• Gaining valuable insight into day-to-day life in a secondary school

Who We are Looking For

• Recent graduates (any degree subject considered)
• Aspiring teachers keen to gain school-based experience
• Enthusiastic, reliable and confident communicators
• A passion for working with young people
• Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
