Graduate Teaching Assistants – Secondary Schools in Salford

We are currently working with a number of secondary schools in the Salford area seeking motivated and confident Graduate Teaching Assistants for full-time roles starting in September 2025. These positions are ideal for aspiring teachers who want to build classroom experience and make a real difference to students learning and development. 

The Role:

• Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis

• Assisting with lesson delivery, classroom management, and pupil engagement

• Providing additional support to students with SEND or learning barriers

• Working closely with teaching staff to ensure a positive learning environment

• Helping prepare classroom resources and supporting school routines

What We’re Looking For:

• Graduates with a passion for education and helping young people succeed

• Experience working with children or young people (in schools, tutoring, youth work, or similar) is highly desirable

• Confident, reliable, and adaptable individuals with excellent communication skills

• A strong academic background, particularly in core subjects or education-related fields

• A DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

• Ability to provide recent and relevant references
