SEN Teaching Assistant – Outstanding Secondary School | Wigan

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school in Wigan. This is an excellent role for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and making a positive impact on their educational journey.

Working closely with the SEN department, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential.

The Role

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs.
• Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
• Work alongside teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support plans.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
