Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are happy to offer the role of a Graduate Teaching Assistant. The role will start October 2023 for the full academic year. The school in question is a mixed 11 – 16 secondary school that was awarded ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. The school is situated in Manchester City Centre.

• Full time Graduate Teaching Assistant starting September 2023.
• Earning potential between £77 - £90 per day.
• Opportunity to work in an Ofsted outstanding school.
• Role could be made permanent should the school decide.

Our client has around 1400 pupils and is looking for someone to support teachers in the classroom whilst also working with students on a 1:1 or small group basis.

Some key skills our client is looking for:

• The ability to liaise with teachers to identify which students need learning support.
• Comfortable working with students on a 1:1 basis.
• Confident working with students with various SEN requirements.
• Help enforce school policies, especially those regarding behaviour.
