Do you have experience dealing with challenging behaviour within any of working environment?

Are you a calm and confident individual, who has the correct attributes to resolve and manage difficult situations?

Would you like to work within a school setting, helping children who are struggling within certain environment?

Teaching personnel are working with a number of different schools within the Manchester area, who are looking to appoint a behaviour teaching assistant to help manage students who are struggling to remain focused and positive within the classroom setting.

If you feel that your attributes and personality can deal with these challenging situations, then the schools would be more than happy to utilize your skills.

Some of the duties may include:

  • Supporting and helping pupils within a key stage 3 and key stage 4 group, who demonstrate challenging behaviour and need additional support.
  • Work alongside the current set of staff within the school to monitor and track attainment progress levels.
  • Take responsibility for safeguarding the students within your group.
  • Work with the students through their issues and problems, to hopefully achieve a positive attitude during the day.

Along with a fantastic rewarding experience, teaching personnel will also be able to provide the successful applicant with:

  • £350 - £450 per week, Dependent on experience.
  • Online safeguarding courses.
  • Career development opportunities.
  • Chance to work in some fantastic secondary schools around the Manchester area.

Before being able to register with ourselves, the applicant will need to provide a number of different documents and references such as:

  • Two work-based references, dating back two years.
  • Completion of our pre work forms.
  • Obtain a fully enhanced child workforce DBS certificate, which can be obtained through Teaching Personnel if you don't currently own one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
