Your Role as a Graduate Teaching Assistant

You will be an essential part of the classroom team, supporting children with special educational needs both individually and in small groups. Your daily contributions will help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with SEN through tailored learning activities

  • Support teachers in lesson planning and daily classroom tasks

  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and independence among students

  • Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere


Who We’re Looking For

We welcome graduates from all academic disciplines—especially those with degrees in:

  • Psychology

  • Sociology

  • Education

  • Sports Science

  • Childhood Studies

  • Social Work

  • Special Educational Needs and Inclusion

Or anyone passionate about working with children and young people.

What You Need to Apply

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Experience with children (paid or voluntary) is helpful but not essential
