Graduate Teaching Assistant - Cwmbran

The head teacher of a secondary school in Cwmbran is looking to appoint a teaching assistant to work 1:1 and in small groups with children with SEN and challenging behaviour. You will need to be understanding and calming to build a rapport with the children and help them engage and stay focused on their learning.
This role will suit a sports graduate or sports coach. Previous experience as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential. Any experience working with children, in care homes, sports coaching or with children with SEN will be considered. A minimum of core GCSE's are required. Pay will be £285 to £300 per week and there is potential for the role to become permanent.
The role is full time but there is also the potential to be part time.
The position is to start immediately.
