Teaching Personnel's Future Teachers Programme provides graduates the opportunity to gain experience in secondary schools across Derby/Derbyshire and the surrounding areas, including developing professional skills through CPD Courses and Training. You will begin your journey as a graduate teacher, helping in a variety of roles within a school to gain skills and experience in an education environment. After successfully completing your contract, you will officially begin your teacher training.

Schools are seeking graduates who are motivated to succeed and pursue a career in teaching. You will be a reliable individual and show a real passion for education, as well as a willingness to learn. All you need is;

• A degree in any subject - Essential (preferred subjects include; Maths, Science, English, MFL and Sports)
• Experience working in a secondary school - Preferable
• Experience in education (School/1:1 Tutoring/Support) - Preferable

Working as a graduate teacher you can expect to be covering a range of lessons gaining experience with classroom and behaviour management. You will be working as an unqualified teacher (without planning, marking, etc) and work is available on a regular, flexible basis.
