Graduate Teacher

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in a teaching capacity this year or next before embarking on a teacher training programme? 

We are working with one of our partner secondary schools to help find an enthusiastic and dedicated member of staff to take on the role of a Graduate Teacher. 

Highlights of the role as a Graduate Teacher

• Join specialist department in school with a focus on development of teaching and learning strategies
• Gain invaluable experience prior to teacher training programme

• Deliver small group sessions initially before building confidence to full classroom under guidance of mentor

Our client secondary school is a large, modern secondary in Northampton with an excellent reputation in the local community for their track record of excellent pupil outcomes. Though the pandemic has caused disruption nationwide, the school have continued providing excellent care to students under their charge and an overwhelming number of parents have been happy with the school's recent efforts. 

Whilst working as a Graduate Teacher, the successful applicant will work to upskill themselves in their chosen subject as well as refining their skillset and practices in the delivery of lessons, behaviour management skills and rapport building with students.
