A perfect role for a graduate or final year student who is considering a career in secondary teaching and has a true passion for supporting the learning of young people.
- Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-time
- September 2020 to July 2021
- Opportunity to progress on to your teacher training in Sept 2021 via the school’s SCITT programme
- Great rate of pay earning GBP1200 a month, paid weekly
- Working at a fantastic and supportive secondary school located in Salford, Manchester
- First hand experience in a classroom to help you decide if teaching is the career for you
- Previous experience with young people is desirable although not essential and to hold a degree or be in the final year of completing.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for supporting the learning of pupils aged 11-16 with their learning needs from the beginning of the new academic year. You will work alongside dedicated class teachers to provide tailored learning support to identified pupils in small classroom groups to ensure they have the best chance to reach their full potential. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
