We have a new challenge and fulfilling opportunity for graduates interested in working with children with special needs such as autism, speech and language and social difficulties. A highly-accredited primary school in Hayes are looking to appoint ambitious and enthusiastic graduates keen to learn new skills and perhaps build on a career in specialist support.

Due to the school opening three new classes across early years to KS2 they are looking for immediate start graduates who can hit the ground running and be open to ongoing development and training in preparation for September 2019.

Experience working with children with special needs is ideal but not necessary as training is provided in-house. Successful applicants will however demonstrate both interest and understanding of autism and how to engage children in learning who have special needs.

The schools have classes across two sites in Hayes and Ruislip:

• the main site for primary aged pupils across early years, KS1 and KS2
• the second site is based in a satellite class in a mainstream school for primary pupils with autism

Successful candidates will:

• Have a UK degree qualification
• Have good understanding or experience of autism spectrum condition and special needs
• Be confident in supporting children 1:1 and in small groups in creative and personalised learning plans
• Demonstrate a patient, pro-active and creative attitude
• Be fully committed to learning from and contributing to a team
