Job description

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic graduate?

Teaching Personnel represent several good Academies and schools across Lincolnshire. We believe graduates provide a unique opportunity to schools to have someone with great subject knowledge and an eagerness to share their knowledge in an education setting and in return they get paid experience.

Our Future Teachers Programme is a perfect opportunity for you to work as a teaching assistant across Schools and Academies in Lincolnshire next year, and then progress on to teacher training. You will gain paid experience working in your chosen school setting and undertake training regularly, ready for a PGCE/SCITT course next year.

As a graduate looking to take this next step you will need;

  • A degree in your chosen subject
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Desire to become a qualified teacher
  • Knowledge of the education system.

As a graduate on our future teachers programme, you will be motivated to push yourself while gaining paid experience. You will be able to take direction from teachers and other staff, feel comfortable with the UK curriculum and confident in 1:1 situations with students where needed.

You will be supported by your school fully and will have a dedicated consultant with Teaching Personnel if you have any problems. Traditionally, the Future Teachers Programme is over a full academic year so you will need to be available exclusively to your chosen school for that academic year. However, if you are looking for experience and can't dedicate that kind of time, we can help you gain experience on a supply basis.

If you feel like you are right for this role or would just like a little more information on any of our roles please forward your most recent CV or alternatively, call Hannah on 01522 244682.
