Graduate Future Teacher's

Are you a graduate seeking a new challenge within the secondary education sector? Could you benefit from paid work experience in the new academic year?

If so, Teaching Personnel are supporting a secondary school located in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan that seek to appoint a number of Graduates and aspiring teachers in the new academic year.

Our partner school have highlighted a need for graduates to join their team, to work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to deliver interventions to disengaged learners across a number of key subject areas. Core subject graduates will be required to work in their specialist subject Maths, English and Science supporting students on the lead up to key exams.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a graduate future teacher who is considering completing a PGCE application in the future and wishes to gain the necessary experience required in a supportive secondary school environment.

  • Graduate Future Teacher
  • £350 per week depending on previous experiences
  • Full time position starting in September
  • Fantastic opportunity to enhance future PGCE applications
  • Full support from core subject leaders and SENCO within school

It will be of benefit if you have previous experience working with young people to apply for this position. The role is initially being offered on a temporary basis, with the prospect of a longer term post for the appointed graduate.

This high school is a voluntary aided, 11-16, mixed comprehensive secondary school that is located in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area of Wigan. If travelling to the school via car then school is just a short drive away from the East Lancashire road, which ensures that it is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of St Helens, Warrington and Bolton. There are also direct public transport links from Wigan town centre.
