Graduate Behaviour Mentor - New Romney - Primary
Are you a Psychology graduate who aspires to work in education and support children overcome barriers to learning?

This forward thinking Primary school in the New Romney area is looking to recruit a resilient graduate role model who can work with children who have emotional and behavioural difficulties and SEMH.
Graduate Behaviour Mentor
Graduate position starting ASAP
Ideal role for a Psychology/Social work/Counselling graduate
Excellent school based experience
Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis
Work Monday - Friday
Paid up to £350 per week

Person Specification - Graduate behaviour mentor
This role would suit a determined and resilient graduate who has a passion and flare for working with young people. You must be able to build relationships with children and liaise with parents, teachers and external professionals.
About the role
You will play a key role to the schools support staff department. You will support children 1:1 who may have social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. Your duties will involve communicating with Teachers, pupils, senior leadership, parent's and external agencies in order to ensure pupils wellbeing and progress is the best it possibly can be.
This school is located in New Romney area. The staff are passionate, driven and determined to ensure all students achieve the best possible start in life. Many of the children from this school come from low socio-economic backgrounds and require inspirational role models to work with.
