Are you a graduate aspiring to become a secondary teacher? Have you got previous experience working with young people aged 11-16?
If so, our client secondary school in Rochdale is currently seeking graduates to join their cover team on a flexible basis. The incoming graduate will be responsible for covering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher, whilst making sure that students behave and complete the allotted work set - this is an excellent opportunity for any aspiring teacher to gain school based experience prior to starting a teacher training programme.

This is a larger than average mixed comprehensive secondary school with over 1200 students currently on roll. The school is based in a semi - rural setting close to Littleborough, Rochdale and is easily accessible via both the M60 & M62, for those on public transport there is bus and train links a short walk away from the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
