Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
The Role:
An Outstanding secondary school in Halifax are currently seeking a dynamic Girl's Physical Education teacher to ensure the sports department remains at the forefront of teaching and learning practice.
The school have an extremely dedicated and supportive faculty and pride themselves on its close-knit community feel. You must be extremely hard working, be well organised and have excellent behaviour management skills.
You must hold QTS and have excellent subject knowledge of Physical Education.
The post is ideal for an experienced or a newly qualified teacher looking for good prospects for career development.
Standards in PE have improved rapidly over recent years and they are now outstanding student outcomes. Teaching in the department is strong and students are well-motivated to learn in this vital subject.
The successful applicant will join a vibrant department where all teachers are committed to improving student progress as well as providing a range of exciting extra-curricular opportunities. This is a unique opportunity to work with an exceptional specialist team and with students who are passionate about PE.
